It’s disturbing how, even in this age of weekly mass shootings, how soooo many white people have been groomed to perceive a visibly armed white man as less threatening than an angry unarmed Black man, and will treat angry Black people as an existential threat worthy of death
Innocent and unarmed Black men are seen as “dangerous,” while dangerous armed white men like Kyle Rittenhouse are viewed as heroes
Didn’t want their newborn taken from them immediately upon birth by CPS
Couldn’t do the physical labour the shelter demanded in exchange for allowing them a bed
Couldn’t eat the food offered due to chronic illnesses or conditions
Was not allowed to set personal boundaries with staff of the ‘services’ in question. This can include things such as: not wanting to agree to something until knowing what it is, not wanting to practise a religion that is not yours, not wanting to go to an AA meeting because you don’t drink so why the hell are you being asked to come?, also you’re not allowed to have a bad day or struggle emotionally even if you have mental illnesses where those are the symptoms. you also can’t have a partner.
Has trauma associated with someone coming into bedroom while sleeping and/or with having their belongings regularly searched

For hospitals/asylums specifically: Doesn’t want to give up their cell phone or personal electronics and cut off contact with the outside world.
